Black Powder Revolver. Chief of the U.S. Marshals on the frontier, “Wild Bill” Hickok, personally spear headed the use of these Colt and Remington revolvers in his attempts to bring order to the old west.

The 1858 New Army was used as a side arm by U.S. Troops in the Civil War. The cylinder has a rebated rear so that it will fit into the barrel for reloading. The barrel and cylinder are blued. The loading lever, hammer, trigger guard and back strap are case hardened with a brass trigger guard and grip straps. The one piece walnut grip is completed with a brass patch box.
