This Traditions spiller/burr revolver sports an adjustable rear sight and a brass trigger guard. It has a single action cap, and trigger pull weight is 1.75 lbs. The barrel measures 6 inches long, and this gun has a limited lifetime warranty. Any standard lead bullet can be fired through the .36 caliber, 1 in 30 twist rifled barrel.

The Spiller & Burr revolver model is a six shot, steel frame, full-size replica of the famous revolver carried by Sam Colt’s Texas Rangers. The full octagonal barrel and case-hardened frame are reminiscent of the originals, as is the Navy grip. It’s an authentic replication of one of the most reliable secondary guns during the Civil War.

The revolver as we know it was patented in 1835 by Samuel Colt, and despite some early hiccups, has been a mainstay of the American firearm arsenal.
