The Triumph 28in 50 caliber is an accurate long range muzzleloader that ignites 209 shot shell primers or Blackhorn209 powder. Rugged and reliable, the Triumph features a 28″ Nitride treated fluted barrel with 1:28 twist for high ballistic performance. The adjustable trigger has zero creep and breaks crisp and clean between 3 – 4 lbs. The interchangeable weatherproof stock system allows you to easily change from palm swell to straight grip without a gunsmith. Equipped with the DuraSight DEAD-ON one piece scope mount, this rifle is drilled and tapped for scope use but includes a breech plug with a corrosion resistant black zinc finish. This muzzleloader also features an ambidextrous composite thumbhole stock, quick-release breech plug, 24″ Ultra-Lite Chromoly tapered and fluted barrel, Dual Safety System and rubber recoil pad.
